Case studies

Real results, from real Microsoft estates

A selection of client outcomes across cost, security, legacy modernisation and end-user computing. Client names are withheld at their request; the challenges and results are real.

How to read these

Four decisions, not a portfolio

There are four studies here, not forty. Each one exists because a client agreed we could publish the numbers, and each covers a decision people arrive at this site already weighing: whether an Azure bill can actually be brought down, whether moving virtual desktops is worth the disruption, whether anyone can explain what a licensing bill is paying for, and what Cyber Essentials really takes when a contract depends on it.

Read the one closest to your situation rather than all four. If none of them matches, that is worth knowing too, and the honest answer is to ask rather than to infer from a study about someone else's estate.

Why the clients are not named

Anonymous, and what that costs us

Client names are withheld at their request. Several are in regulated sectors, and one of the studies is about a security certification, which is not something most businesses want their name attached to in public alongside the gaps that existed beforehand.

We are aware that costs us something. An anonymous case study is weaker evidence than a named one, and a reader is entitled to wonder whether vagueness is covering an absence. So: the challenges, the actions and the numbers in each study are real and unrounded, and if you are seriously evaluating us we will arrange a reference call with a client in a comparable position. That is a better answer than a logo wall, and it is available on asking.
