Privacy Policy

BACKGROUND:

This Policy applies as between you, the User of this Website and Systech IT Solutions the owner and provider of this Website. This Policy applies to our use of any and all Data collected by us in relation to your use of the Website.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In this Policy the following terms shall have the following meanings:

"Data" means collectively all information that you submit to the Systech IT Solutions via the Website. This definition shall, where applicable, incorporate the definitions provided in the Data Protection Act 1998;
"Systech IT Solutions" means Systech IT Solutions of Unit 21, Brough Business Centre, Baffin Way, Brough, HU15 1YU;
"User" means any third party that accesses the Website and is not employed by Systech IT Solutions and acting in the course of their employment; and
"Website" means the website that you are currently using (https://systechitsolutions.co.uk) and any sub-domains of this site (e.g. subdomain.systechitsolutions.co.uk) unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions.

2. Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies only to the actions of Systech IT Solutions and Users with respect to this Website. It does not extend to any websites that can be accessed from this Website including, but not limited to, any links we may provide to social media websites.

3. Data Collected

3.1 The personal information you provide to Systech IT Solutions Ltd will be held on Systech IT Solutions’s computer systems and may be used by Systech IT Solutions Ltd in its business. We may collect the following information:

  • Name and job title
  • Contact information including email address
  • Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
  • Other information relevant to customer surveys/offers

3.2 Additionally Systech IT Solutions Ltd could use your information for the purpose of billing and payment, licensing, audits, internal record keeping, checking on eligibility criteria and generally supporting Systech IT Solutions Ltd’s business.

3.3 Website analytics and cookies. This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use it. It is configured with Google Consent Mode v2 and analytics storage set to denied by default, which means Google Analytics does not write any cookie or other identifier to your device unless you accept analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. We ask for that consent under regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, and we ask again after 12 months. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies involved.

3.4 Until you accept, or if you reject, what Google receives is a cookieless measurement signal: the page visited, an approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, and general device and referral information. It does not identify you, it is not linked to any account, and we do not use it for advertising or personalisation. Because no identifier persists in that case, the visitor and session figures we see are statistical estimates rather than counts of individual people. If you accept, Google Analytics also sets the _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies so that it can recognise a returning browser and count sessions. Either way, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation are all set to denied, and the events we record (a successful contact form submission, a click on a "Request a call" button, or a click on our phone number or email address) carry only the page they happened on and, for a button, where on the page it sat and where it leads, never what you typed, your phone number or your email address.

3.5 Microsoft Clarity. If, and only if, you accept analytics cookies, we also load Microsoft Clarity, a behaviour analytics service from Microsoft. Clarity records how you interact with our pages (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and the pages you view) so that we can see where the site is confusing or broken, using heatmaps and session replays. Text you type into forms is masked in your browser and never sent to Clarity, and other sensitive text such as numbers and email addresses is masked too. We tell Clarity that advertising storage is denied, so the data is not shared with Microsoft Advertising. Microsoft processes Clarity data under its own terms and the Microsoft Privacy Statement (https://www.microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement), and keeps recordings for up to 30 days. Withdrawing consent through "Cookie settings" tells Clarity to stop and removes its cookies from this site. Our Cookie Policy lists the Clarity cookies.

3.6 Apart from the analytics cookies above, which are only set if you accept them, the only cookie-like storage this site sets during normal use is your cookie choice itself, kept in your browser's local storage so that we do not ask on every page, and that required by hCaptcha on our contact form, which is a spam-prevention measure rather than analytics or tracking, and which only loads on the pages carrying that form.

4. Our Use of Data

4.1 Systech IT Solutions will use your Data for the following purposes:
4.1.1 responding to the contents of your email to us
4.1.2 internal record keeping
4.1.3 improvement of our products / services
4.1.4 transmission by email of promotional materials that may be of interest to you
4.1.5 contact for market research purposes which may be done using email. Such information may be used to customise or update the Website.

4.2 When you ask for a guide or brief through the form on one of our resource pages, the form sends us the same kind of details as our contact form (your name, email address and company) so that we can give you the document and follow up about it.

This Website may, from time to time, provide links to other websites. Systech IT Solutions has no control over such websites and is in no way responsible for the content thereof. This Policy does not extend to your use of such websites. Users are advised to read the privacy policy or statement of other websites prior to using them.

6. Accessing your own Data

You have the right to ask for a copy of any of your personal Data held by Systech IT Solutions (where any such data is held) on payment of a small fee which will not exceed £200.

7.1 Data security is of great importance to Systech IT Solutions and to protect your Data we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure Data collected via this Website.

8. Changes to this Policy

Systech IT Solutions reserves the right to change this Policy as we may deem necessary from time to time or as may be required by law. Any changes will be immediately posted on the Website and you are deemed to have accepted the terms of the Policy on your first use of the Website following the alterations.
